The Grand Bend weekend was a great success and crazy busy! We had tons of fans drop buy the trailer to lend their support and wish us well. I believe we are very close to getting the car where we want it. With two back to back 5.79@ 246 mph I feel we are a couple changes away from some low 5.70's maybe even a 5.60 with the roots style supercharger. Our next race is Bowling Green Kentucky August 28-30. We are also trying to get a match race put together for Cayuga on the Labour Day weekend.
Julie and I have a friend that suffered a bad Drag Boat crash last weekend. Our thouhgts and prayers are with him and his family - All the best Don we are pulling for you!

Today was great! We had beautiful weather and am awesome race track. Our first qualifier I set the car up just a bit too soft and it shook just a bit before second gear. On the second qualifier we made a big move and ran my best ever mph to half track - 205.10
We are in the number three spot with two more qualifiers tomorrow. I'll post again but now it is time for bed

Edmonton

Sorry for the laps in post but I have been spending all my spare time loading my new iPod with song and apps. Pat, Dad as well as Mom and me are having a drink and relaxing on the hotel. The car is race ready for the Edmonton race and everybody is excited to put a bunch of runs on the screw blower combination. The weather looks to be great and I will be certain to keep everybody up to date with our performance!

Julie is back to work at 'A' channel and I'm in charge of Wyatt in the mornings and at after work. He is great! I love the time we get to spend together alone - It is hard to believe how much he learns everyday! I am still gathering up parts to head out West. Slowly putting the East coast car back together for the Grand Bend match race against Paul Noakes. If anyone needs tickets to the race contact Dennis or me at the shop, we get 10% off the original ticket price.
Last night we bolted the roots blower that Dad and I modified and tested on the dyno. It is time to track test this blower which is head and shoulders better than any blower we have pulled on the dyno - can't wait!

I'm working feverishly on assembling all the parts and pieces for the 'West Coast' car. Tons of things to order and rearrange. Wyatt is here a work with me for a few minutes...... He has learned how to "bum-skoot" along the floor. He is not into crawling so he may go right into walking! Talked to all my friends about the race car the last couple of days. Hopefully the things we discussed will help me get it one step closer for the Edmonton race in July!
My sister Darlene comes home in a week haven't seen her since Christmas - can't wait!

I'm back home from Mission, British Columbia. The race weekend was a success on many different levels - We made our first 250+ mile per hour pass and we won our first NHRA round of eliminations for 2009 and we work through the adversity of a new trailer and race program.
Al Ohman worked his tail off everyday along with Kyle, Pat and of course my Dad. I can't thank those guys enough for all their hard work. I got to meet a bunch of Eddy's crew guys which are great group of guys dedicated to racing and winning. (Thanks again Brad for the ice cream)
I want to thank the Plazier family for the great dinner and all the lunches they brought over to us. All in all a great first weekend! - Now back to WORK!

Everything is race ready! This will be the first race that Julie and Wyatt will ride together with me in the transport truck......... I'm really excited to see if Wyatt likes riding in the 'Big Truck'. If stops raining I'm going to head home and cut the grass. If there is internet @ Norwalk I will give daily updates if not check out my TWITTER site I'll be posting on there.
